Parents' Association

The Parents' Association (PA) plays a key role in assisting the School to create a friendly and caring environment for parents and students. The Parents' Association organises a variety of social and fundraising functions, while also providing valuable funds for facilities that benefit our students' learning.

Loreto Secondo

Loreto Secondo, our secondhand Uniform Shop, is coordinated by the Parents' Association and relies on generous donations of pre-loved uniforms from our school families. Donations are gratefully received and can be delivered to P-6 Reception or the Development Office.

Loreto Secondo is located at the entrance to the Barry Sports Centre, next to the uniform shop, and operates as per the opening hours listed.

A number of branded items of Loreto Toorak merchandise are available from Loreto Secondo or the Development Office, located in the Stables Business Office.

Loreto Welcomes

The Loreto Welcomes program is a collaborative effort between the School and parent volunteers. It's designed to welcome new families into the Loreto School community and provide a support structure for parents.

Loreto Support

“What does love look like? It has the hands to help others.”, Saint Augustine

At Loreto Toorak we enjoy many opportunities to come together, sharing in a variety of activities and events, and rejoicing in the accomplishments of our girls. Whilst we often gather in times of celebration and joy we are also often in the position of being able to offer support and comfort to each other in times of difficulty and sadness. This nurturing of each other, and this sincere demonstration of compassion for each other, has been a constant and significant part of our tradition since its beginnings.

The Loreto Toorak Support Program has been sustained by our generous and caring school community, and builds on the Loreto Toorak tradition of lived pastoral care, by formalising the many spontaneous and important gestures of goodwill that already exist within our networks.

We are seeking assistance in a number of roles and different capacities including preparing meals, assisting with domestic duties, visitations or even car-pooling. A database of volunteers will be created with the volunteer’s name, contact details and area of support. This information will be discreetly and carefully managed and used for the purposes of the Loreto Support program only. It is hoped that our community will be generous in supporting this initiative, thereby ensuring that the duties are shared widely and able to be managed by the pool of volunteers.
